Bob Geldof's wildchild daughter Peaches has caused outrage by posing for a picture holding a gun at her friend's head and posting it on the internet.
The socialite aimed the replica pistol at her pal A.J. English for a fashion shoot, which also included a shot in which she pointed the prop down his trousers in a provocative pose.
Anti-gun groups have slammed Geldof for the "abhorrent" photos after she posted the images on her Twitter.com and Facebook.com pages.
Protester Vanessa Hyman, whose teenage son Anton was shot and killed in 2004, tells Britain's The Sun, "For someone like her in the public eye to have her photo taken with a gun is disgraceful. Guns are not toys. They aren't something to be used as a prop in a fashion shoot. It's totally disrespectful and abhorrent to all those people who've lost loved ones to gun crime."
Geldof's spokesperson has defended the 20 year old, explaining the gun was "a child's plastic toy" and insisting, "She does not condone violence."
