SIR Bob Geldof has vowed never to arrange another LIVE 8 gig - because he is getting too old.

The poverty-awareness campaigner, who has just been named 2005 Man of Peace, organised Live Aid in 1985 and Live 8 this year (05) - but doesn't think he will have the stamina to do it again as a pensioner in 2025.

He says, "If I leave it another 20 years, I'll be 74, I don't think I could handle it.

"I'm hoping we don't need to have another Live Aid."

Geldof's daughters FIFI TRIXIBELLE, TIGER LILY, PIXIE and Peaches are relieved at their dad's decision, because an old man hosting such an event would be "embarrassing".
