Crusading rocker SIR Bob Geldof will front a television documentary, highlighting what he believes is an unfair bias against divorced fathers in custody battles.
The former BOOMTOWN RATS singer - who won custody of his daughters FIFI, Peaches and PIXIE from his ex-wife Paula Yates in 1998 - will talk about his own legal fight in the programme. He will also point out that fewer than one in 10 fathers are awarded custody of their children after divorce.
A source says, "Bob is very passionate about this. He strongly believes that father's rights need to be better protected and he's obviously capable of getting his message across."01/10/2004 14:00
