Rocker Bob Dylan is reportedly threatening to sue producers of a new movie about Andy Warhol's protegee EDIE SEDGWICK - because he's unhappy with the way he is portrayed.

In FACTORY GIRL, Dylan has an affair with Sedgwick - played by Jude Law's girlfriend Sienna Miller. Sedgwick is said to have inspired Dylan's hit LAY LADY LAY.

But the singer insists the song was written about his then wife SARA LOWNDES.

A source close to Dylan says, "I have no idea where they got this story."

But Factory Girl producer RICHARD GOLUB insists, "As far as I know we've not had any correspondence from Mr Dylan. There's a lot of evidence that he and Edie knew each other."
