Bob Dylan and Patti Smith have been called upon to help save the former London lovenest of French poets Paul Verlaine and ARTHUR RIMBAUD - which is rapidly falling into disrepair. The rockers have both honoured the troubled twosome in their songwriting - Dylan notably in his song YOU'RE GONNA MAKE ME LONESOME WHEN YOU GO. And now they are expected to join the fight to save 8 Royal College Street in Camden Town - where the lovers lived in the 1870s - from being redeveloped. Other celebrities standing up for the historic house include British thespian Simon Callow and Poet Laureate ANDREW MOTION.
