Bob Dylan has wrecked The Who's big day by announcing an upcoming North American arena tour with former Dire Straits leader Mark Knopfler hours after the British rockers staged a phone-in press conference to launch their own 36-date trek.
Dylan's month-long autumn (12) tour will even coincide with The Who's dates in November (12).
The folk rock legend will open his dates in Winnipeg, Manitoba on 5 October (12) and wrap up the tour in New York on 11 November (12).
The trek marks the first time Dylan has headlined an arena tour since 2006.
Dylan and Knopfler toured Europe together last year (11).
