Blur rocker Dave Rowntree is in the running to become a Member of Parliament (MP) at Britain's next general election.
The drummer has landed a place on the Labour Party's shortlist of official candidates hoping to represent the party in Norwich, east England.
Rowntree will go head-to-head with Bbc local TV reporter Clive Lewis, city councillor Victoria MacDonald and Joe Goldberg, who ran against current Prime Minister David Cameron last year (10).
Last year (10), the star's political career was dealt a blow when he failed to win a seat in the U.K. Parliament in the general election.
