British rockers Blur have reacted furiously to their new album THINK TANK's omission from the MERCURY MUSIC PRIZE shortlist.
The critically acclaimed album was overlooked for the prestigious British gong despite a warm critical reception - but, according to bassist Alex James, the Mercury judges can "f*** off".
James, referring to the unfashionable M People's controversial triumph in 1994, rallies, "I know how good our album is. I don't need a f***ing t**t panel to tell me it isn't as good as M People. I'm too busy frankly, so they can f*** off."01/09/2003 13:32
