The Britpop band - who will be honoured with an Outstanding Contribution award at the ceremony at London's The O2 - have revealed plans for a special performance of their song 'Tender' at the show.
They wrote on twitter: ''Exclusive! Outstanding Contribution winners Blur will perform Tender (with 32-piece London Community Gospel Choir) on ITV2 at 10pm tonightYES! Got MUSIC blaring getting ready :D (sic)''
Blur aren't the only act who are excited about tonight's awards, Jessie J - who last year won the Critic's Choice award and is nominated for three gongs this year - has plans to celebrate her whirlwind year in style.
She tweeted: ''Its the @BRIT_Awards today!!! Woah what a year I'm going to celebrate tonight! :D (sic)''
Meanwhile, despite four nominations, Ed Sheeran knows it is not a foregone conclusion that he will win any, and he's just happy with how far he has come this year anyway.
He wrote on twitter: ''Awards or no awards, I've had a brilliant year, thank you too all family, friends, radio dj's, media and every single fan who has supported!
''Let's go get 'em. Good luck to everyone else nominated, it's a fantastic time for British music at the moment (sic)''
