British rockers Blur reunited for their first show in almost a decade at the NME Awards in London on Wednesday (25Feb09).
In December (08), the Britpop pioneers announced they were reforming for a series of concerts in London's Hyde Park in July (09) and a slot at renowned British music festival Glastonbury in June (09).
And, ahead of the mega-gigs, the group chose to make a low-key performance at the O2 Brixton Academy on Wednesday (25Feb09), performing This Is A Low from their acclaimed 1994 album Parklife.
The band received rapturous applause from a star-studded crowd for their performance before later presenting Pete Doherty with the Best Solo Artist award.
