The BREATHE singer was personally asked to write a track for the R.E.S.P.E.C.T. diva, and admits the experience moved her to tears.
She says, "This is the person I looked up to and worshipped. I was blown away. They had this big meeting when I was staying in Atlanta and they sat there and said, 'Aretha Franklin personally wanted to tell you that she wants her album to sound like your album.'
"I almost came to tears. I made a song for her and the song is an amazing song. Hopefully she'll do it in the future."29/10/2003 17:08
