Singer KELE OKEREKE has poured scorn over the theory that the more troubled you are, the better the music you make. The Bloc Party frontman insists troubled singer Pete Doherty isn't a tortured artist, and believes "it's easier to be a misfit or a dropout than be a genius and actually create something". He says, "That is something that has been misunderstood in recent times, and has led to really cliched behaviour. "Someone like Pete Doherty, with his drug taking and refusal to adhere to a traditional lifestyle, makes people think that his art is more relevant because he's a f**k up."
