The band scored its first U.K. number one on Friday (08Jul16) and now Mark Hoppus and his bandmates have debuted California at the top of the Billboard 200 in America.

The feat ends Drake’s nine-week number one with Views.

California is Blink-182’s second chart-topper, following 2001's Take Off Your Pants and Jacket.

The new album is the group’s first without co-founder Tom DeLonge, who quit Blink-182 last year (15). Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba has replaced the singer/guitarist.

Drake’s Views falls to two on the countdown and Maxwell's blackSUMMERS’night debuts at three, while Beyonce’s Lemonade drops to four and Twenty One Pilots' Blurryface rounds out the top five.
