Blake Lively tricked her friend over the birth of her baby.

The 'Gossip Girl' actress - who gave birth to a baby girl in December - convinced her 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' co-star Amber Tamblyn to come and visit her house to see her new wallpaper, before showing her the real reason why she wanted Amber to visit - the new arrival.

Amber joked: ''That bitch! She tricked me!

''I went up there and I didn't know, everybody knew but me, and she does that s**t to me. She was texting me about wallpaper, she was like, 'You gotta come see my new wallpaper,' and I went up there, and there was her baby.''

The 31-year-old actress also revealed that she is excited to be Violet's ''auntie'', after Blake, 27, and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, 38, made her a godmother to the little girl.

She said: ''I'm very excited for her and Ryan, and to be an auntie. All of us are godmothers so we are very happy.

''I took pictures with Ryan and the baby and sent them to Ken Kwapis, the 'Sisterhood' director.''

Fellow 'Sisterhood' actress, America Ferrara also expressed her excitement for the family and thinks the couple will be great parents.

She told People magazine: ''I couldn't be more excited for her and Ryan, and they are going to be amazing parents.''
