Organisers of Britain's Download festival have assured fans Black Sabbath are still planning to perform following news of Tony Iommi's cancer diagnosis.
Ozzy Osbourne's reformed band was due to play at the upcoming Coachella Festival in California in April (11), but pulled out of the headline slot after the guitarist revealed his health crisis.
The decision was made shortly before the festival's official line-up was announced earlier this month (Jan12).
Fans in the U.K. had feared the band would also axe a planned performance at Download in June (12), but festival boss Andy Copping is adamant the plan hasn't changed.
He tells NME.com, "As far as I'm aware everything is fine. I've been told that Black Sabbath are going to be playing Download. I don't want people to worry unduly about that, we should all just send our thoughts and best wishes to Tony Iommi.''
The Download Festival takes place in Donington Park, England between 8-10 June (12).
