A Black Sabbath fan has helped police in Maryland track down a ticket forger.
Shannon Michael Seeber, 34, was attempting to pass off fake tickets for the band's 21 August (16) concert in Bristow, Virginia to a buyer, who became suspicious and contacted Ticketmaster officials to make sure his seats were for real.
Bosses at the ticket company alerted Howard County Police Department officials, who conducted an investigation which led them to Seeber.
He was arrested and charged with theft scheme, forgery, possession of false government identification and drug possession.
Lawmakers also found he was "in possession of additional fraudulent tickets to multiple concerts, including Black Sabbath, Barbara Streisand, Drake and Adele".
Meanwhile, Black Sabbath are currently on the road as part of their final tour, which ends with a show in the band's native Birmingham, England, on 4 February (17).
