The Black Eyed Peas' former business advisor has filed for bankruptcy with debts of over $500,000 (Gbp312,500).
Sean Larkin, who parted ways with the band after acknowledging he had failed to file income tax returns for them, is seeking Chapter 7 protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Los Angeles.
He is also being sued by the group's guitarist and another former client for breach of contract. The lawsuits accuse Larkin of hiding letters from the Internal Revenue Service and state tax authorities demanding payment of back taxes, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Public records show he owes more than $1 million (Gbp625,000) in taxes.
