Rap collective the Black Eyed Peas have made an extra-special contribution to the video game world - by re-recording nine of their new tracks in a game's own language.

The HEY MAMA hitmakers are producing the official soundtrack for ELECTRONIC ARTS' upcoming game the URBZ, an urban spin-off of the company's hit series the SIMS.

It will showcase nine tracks from the group's upcoming album MONKEY BUSINESS remixed in Simlish, the language spoken by Sims characters.

While games have featured original songs on their soundtracks in the past, this marks the first time a band has re-recorded songs specially for a video game.
