Blac Chyna is committed to working things out with her estranged fiance Rob Kardashian.
The on-again, off-again couple called it quits last month (Feb17), not long after they welcomed their first child together, daughter Dream, in November.
Though the formerly engaged couple is reportedly in the middle of a custody battle over Dream, Chyna told Cosmopolitan South Africa she was "in it for the long haul" with the 30-year-old Keeping up with the Kardashians star.
"I feel like every person who’s in a long-term relationship, or who is committed to their person, goes through ups and downs,” the 28-year-old mother-of-two said. “Everything isn’t always going to be peaches and cream. If it is, then it’s fake. I’m in it for the long haul.”
It is unclear when the interview took place, as while it referenced Chyna and Rob living apart, the couple had in fact lived separately many times during their relationship.
"My advice (for anyone in a similar situation) is therapy, know each other’s family, calling each other’s moms,” Chyna continued. “I feel like everything isn’t going to be perfect, but I know we love each other and we’re fighting for each other, and the people we surround ourselves with are rooting for us. It makes everything much easier.”
The reason for Chyna wanting to make her relationship work with the reality star is down to their daughter, Dream. Despite their split and reported custody battle, Rob has been sharing sweet snaps of his baby on social media, and Chyna, who has four-year-old son King Cairo with ex Tyga, even wished her estranged fiance a happy birthday on Instagram on Friday (17Mar17).
“We also have Dream. So we’re looking at the bigger picture,” she told the magazine. “We have a whole other human being that looks up to us, so we have to makes sure she’s taken care of.
"He’s a wonderful dad,” she said of Rob. “I think it’s because he had such a great father.”
