Icelandic pop star Bjork has scrapped a U.K. gig - just days after pulling out a headline slot at a British musical festival.
The eccentric singer cancelled her show at City Hall in Sheffield, England, on Wednesday (02Jul08), citing health reasons.
The star revealed on her official website that doctors have warned her to rest after she was diagnosed with "ongoing throat problems".
A representative for the It's Oh So Quiet singer adds, "Björk is extremely disappointed to have to cancel the show and sends her apologies to everyone who had bought tickets."
The star has also scrapped her appearance at Wild In The Country Festival on 5 July (08), accusing event organisers of failing to meet basic performance requirements.
Bjork's fans will adore this film, which captures the last night of her Biophilia world...
