Icelandic star Bjork is recovering at home after falling ill and cancelling a concert in the U.S. on Thursday (09Feb12).
The Army of Me singer apologised to fans after axing her gig at the New York Hall of Science in Queens just hours before she was due to take to the stage.
She posted on her Facebook.com page, "Dear folks, I am terribly sorry (I) got struck by the February flu, no notes from me today! I'm going to try to get better before Sunday... we are trying to rejuggle things to do the show later, all the warmth, Bjork."
A spokesperson has assured fans Bjork's remaining planned dates will be unaffected by the cancellation.
The star is next due to appear at the New York Hall of Science on Sunday (12Feb12), and will follow it up with five more concerts in the Big Apple this month (Feb12).
