Sixteen years after releasing his debut country single, One Voice, when he was 12, Gilman is hoping for a second shot at success on the U.S. talent show and his blind audition, which will feature on Tuesday night's (20Sep16) episode has leaked online.

In the footage, all four coaches, Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, Blake Shelton, and Alicia Keys turned their chairs around to face Gilman, who was clearly overwhelmed by the response to his Adele cover.

"I know Billy," Shelton said after he asked the Grammy-nominated singer his name.

"I started out as a young country artist and had great success," the now-28-year-old said. "To finally be here in a moment where I can finally sing the way I so badly wanted to even then, and to finally stand here and be amongst you, it truthfully is such an honour."

"When I was making my first album, that's when One Voice came out," Shelton recalled. "It's crazy, Billy, because you always wonder whatever happened to somebody. Now you've found your sound and where you belong musically. I'm happy for you, man."

The memories also came flooding back for Miley, who remembered Gilman once opened for her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, on tour.

"I know who the hell you are! Let me take care of you," she said.

Viewers will discover which coach Gilman picked during Tuesday's episode of The Voice.
