Yams, founder of hip-hop collective A$AP Mob, died from acute mixed drug intoxication on 18 January, 2015 aged 26, and thanks to New York-based artist Ajani Brathwaite, the rapper will have his popular tweets compiled in a book titled A$AP Yams Gems.

His 98,000-plus followers "liked" and retweeted his stream-of-consciousness comments about life and hip-hop, tweets which showed the rapper's true personality.

All proceeds from Brathwaite's book will be donated to A$AP Yams' family, and it will be released on 18 January (16), the same day his friends and frequent collaborators, including A$AP Rocky, are set to take to the stage at New York's Terminal 5 venue for a tribute concert, titled Yams Day.

A$AP Mob members Rocky and Lil Uzi will perform at the gig, as well as close friend Joey Bada$$, with more special guests to be announced.
