Veteran actor Bill Murray had an unexpected meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama on Saturday (26Nov11) as they both attended a college basketball game in Maryland.
The Ghostbusters star turned out to support his son Luke as he made his home debut as the assistant coach for Towson University's Towson Tigers team in a game against Oregon State, but he found himself in the company of the political leader as Obama and his wife Michelle cheered on the rival coach, the First Lady's older brother, Craig Robinson.
Murray was introduced to the Obamas before the game and was photographed shaking hands and chatting to the pair.
However, the Hollywood veteran's star power was not enough to propel the Towson Tigers to victory - they lost to Oregon State University's Beaver squad 66-46.
