The Inside Out actor is starring in upcoming comedy Trainwreck, which features Amy Schumer as a career-focused woman who is defiantly against monogamy, and quickly goes from one male conquest to the next.

Hader, who plays Schumer's love interest in the film, admits to that he's only had one one-night stand in his life - and he had to bring a mattress just to seal the deal.

He recalls, "I just got out of a relationship, we dated for seven years. My friends took me out and I met a girl that night and she was like, 'Hey do you wanna hang out? I'm moving to San Francisco tomorrow.' My friend was like, 'This is the best situation possible - go for it.'

"She was like, 'Can we go back to your place?', but I moved in with my friend. So I call him and say, 'I'm bringing a girl over and he goes, 'You don't have a bed.'"

Hader broke the news to the girl, who came up with the idea to go to her old apartment and fetch the bed she had just thrown away in the midst of moving.

He continued, "We drive there and next to a dumpster was a bed. We put the box spring and the mattress on top of my car, held it down (with our hands) and drove to my apartment.

"My roommate was in his robe, and I walk in with a girl and a bed and I was like, 'Hey man, do you have sheets for this thing? It's a queen.' He was just like, 'What the hell?'"

Hader concluded, "She spent the night and I had that bed for a really long time."
