Embattled comedian Bill Cosby received another show of support from fans at a gig in California on Sunday night (18Jan15), amid his ongoing sex abuse scandal.

Cosby devotees gave the veteran a standing ovation following his comedy concert in Turlock, just as they did the night before in Denver, Colorado.

Unlike Saturday's gig, which was pre-empted by a large anti-Cosby protest, only one activist was outside the Turlock Community Theater to greet the funnyman.

California attorney Gloria Allred, who is representing several of the 30-plus women who have accused Cosby of drugging and/or raping them or behaving inappropriately, was at Saturday's rally in Denver with one of her clients, Beth Ferrier.

The Denver native, who claims she is a victim of Cosby's, told the local media, "This doesn't get any easier. It's an important day because Bill Cosby has the chutzpah to come to Denver of all places, to perform and to treat these allegations as a joke."

Cosby's comedy tour continues on Friday (30Jan15) with a show at Sandusky State Theatre in Ohio.

Several concerts have been scrapped in the wake of the sex allegations.
