DICkinson launched legal action against the former The Cosby Show star in May (15) after the 78-year-old's former lawyer Martin Singer called her rape allegation against Cosby, "a lie".

DICkinson also included Singer in her lawsuit, but earlier this month (Feb16), Judge Debra Weintraub tentatively ruled Singer could be dismissed from the case because DICkinson knew about his statements at the time she sued Cosby.

DICkinson claimed Cosby drugged and raped her during a trip to Lake Tahoe, California, in 1982, but Cosby is seeking to have the lawsuit dismissed, accusing DICkinson of giving different versions of what happened, according to Billboard.com.

Meanwhile, Cosby is heading to trial after a judge in Pennsylvania ruled the charges against the comedian, relating to allegations he sexually abused ex-Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his home in 2004, will stand.

Cosby has been accused of rape, drugging and performing inappropriate sex acts by over 50 women in the past 18 months. The comic maintains he is innocent.
