Actor/comedian Bill Cosby is urging fans to remain calm if protesters disrupt his comedy show when he returns to the stage on Wednesday night (07Jan15) in Ontario, Canada.

The embattled star, who is facing allegations of sexual assault and inappropriate behaviour from more than 20 women, including models Beverly Johnson and Janice DICkinson, is set to perform in Kitchener on Wednesday, and has shows lined up in London and Hamilton, Ontario on Thursday (08Jan15) and Friday (09Jan15).

Protests have been planned for the London and Hamilton shows, and now Cosby is calling on those with tickets to remain calm if the activists find a way into the venues.

A statement from the 77 year old reads: "If a disruption occurs, please remain calm until the matter is resolved and do not confront the person making the disruption."

Cosby last performed onstage in Florida in November (14) and received a standing ovation for refusing to bow to pressure and cancel the concert. The owners of several other venues scrapped planned performances fearing the wrath of activists and women's rights groups.
