Singer filed papers last week (ends04Dec15) seeking to have Judge Debra Weintraub removed from the case, citing prejudice, but on Monday (07Dec15), the attorney withdrew the request after DICkinson's lawyer challenged his motion, explaining he was unable to have her removed because Cosby successfully challenged the first Los Angeles Superior Court judge in the case, according to Deadline.com.

DICkinson launched legal action against the former The Cosby Show star in May (15) after Singer called her rape allegation against Cosby in November, 2014, "a lie".

Her lawyer Lisa Bloom was set to quiz the comedian and Singer last month (Nov15), but the 2nd District Court of Appeal in Los Angeles issued an order delaying both rounds of questioning after the funnyman's legal team challenged the deposition ruling. A decision on whether the deposition will take place is scheduled to be made by the end of this month.

DICkinson alleges Cosby drugged and raped her in Lake Tahoe, California in 1982. More than 40 women have made similar allegations of sexual assault and/or abuse against the comedian in the past 14 months.
