Comedian Bill Cosby staged a motivational rally in Toledo, Ohio earlier this month (Mar11) to encourage locals to take a stand against crime in their community.
The funnyman got serious for a talk in the city, telling residents not to tolerate drug dealers and violence before leading an estimated crowd of 2,000 people through the streets to spread his message.
He said, "This is our neighbourhood, our responsibility, our children. I want you to think about how you can make today better - make it better!
"Our elders have to be able to walk, any time, day or night, with their pocketbook wide open and nobody puts their hand in it. This is our elders, our responsibility. And we will succeed."
Cosby also urged locals to help support children in the education system.
