Former model and actress Helen Gumpel has become the latest woman to accuse Bill Cosby of making unwanted sexual advances in the 1980s.

Gumpel, who appeared on one episode of The Cosby Show in the late 1980s, alleges she was invited back to the set for what she thought was another audition in 1987, when she was called into the veteran actor's dressing room and seated on a couch.

She claims Cosby handed her a drink and then stood in front of her with his crotch in her face as he reportedly made lewd comments and gestures towards her.

The alleged victim, formerly known as Helen Selby, rejected his advances, but she is adamant the snub seriously damaged her budding career.

Speaking at a press conference in Boston, Massachusetts on Sunday (08Feb15), hours after Cosby cancelled two stand-up comedy gigs in the city due to inclement weather, she said, "I never thought of myself as a victim because I refused his advances. But my career was a victim."

Cosby's lawyer has yet to respond to the latest allegation, but has previously dismissed similar claims made by over 30 women, some of whom maintain they were drugged and raped during encounters decades ago.

The 77 year old has never been charged.
