After promising new music for Halloween in an Instagram post on Sunday (30Oct176), the Mercy rapper dropped two tracks: No More Interviews and Bounce Back.
In the song, which was co-produced by Sean and Amaire Johnson, the MC rattles off a three-minute-plus rant addressing the negative headlines he has weathered and slamming Naya who described the rapper as “an incredibly selfish person" in her memoir Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes, and Growing Up.
"And you know the funny thing about it is my ex wanna write a tell-all/ F**ked up thing about it is she ain’t even tell all/ Like how I introduced her to meditation, positive thinking/ And the books she probably read in daily rotation,” he sings.
The 28-year-old, real name Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, also refers to his huge hit song I Don’t F**k With You, which he released soon after the couple split, rapping, "I won't tell them all the other parts about you that's plastic/ This my last time putting my ex in a song even though the last one went triple platinum.”
Sean and Naya started their romance in 2013, announcing their engagement in October of that year after just six months of dating. But by April the rapper had called the whole thing off and according to TMZ, blamed his second thoughts on the Glee actress's reported "violent fits of anger and jealousy." He's now dating singer/songwriter and TWENTY88 collaborator Jhene Aiko, while Naya is married to Ryan Dorsey, and they have son Josey together.
