It has emerged female 'Big Brother' evictee Angel is planning a sex change and started hormone therapy before she entered the reality TV house.
'Big Brother' evictee Angel is planning to have a sex change.
The Russian-born boxer wants to become a man and has even consulted gender realignment specialists in London.
The 36-year-old's adoptive father, Clinton McKenzie, claims Angel decided on the operation so she can fight men.
He said: "Angel wants a sex change. She wants to become a man and to fight men in the ring.
"She's obsessed with boxing and will do absolutely anything to live her dream."
It is claimed Angel has completed the initial stages of hormone therapy and although she hasn't started taking male hormone drugs, is suffering side effects from her initial treatments. 'Big Brother' viewers saw her shave her face in the house.
Clinton added he was stunned when his daughter, whom he adopted as an adult, told him of her plans.
He added to Britain's Star magazine: "She is really convinced that she could become a world champion as a male boxer.
"When she told me, I was petrified. I told her she was mad and that I wanted nothing to do with it. She's very stubborn though."
Angel's career as a female boxer, trained by Clinton, has so far not been the very successful, and she has won only the first two of her 17 professional fights, and is currently on 15 match losing streak.
Before she was evicted from 'Big Brother' last Friday (25.06.09), bisexual Angel confessed she was in love with fellow contestant Noirin, and upon eviction played a song she wrote about how she had "stabbed" her "in the heart" to a TV audience.
