Rappers Big Boi and B.O.B. are getting animated to star in a new video game.

The hip-hop stars have joined forces for Army of T.W.O.: The Devil's Cartel, in which they portray agents from the fictional Tactical Worldwide Operations (T.W.O.) organisation, who are commissioned to take down a ruthless Mexican drug cartel.

The pals have also provided the music for the game and Airplanes hitmaker B.o.B. admits being invited to participate in the development of the forthcoming Electronics Arts release was a dream come true.

He says, "I love action games, and getting a chance to star in one is definitely something I'm excited about."

Outkast star Big Boi adds, "Partnering with B.o.B on the Army of T.W.O.: The Devil's Cartel theme song and inside the game has been a blast."

They aren't the only rappers involved in the current video game market - Snoop Dogg is creating his own release, Way of the Dogg.
