Beyonce, Kanye West and Keri Hilson are among the superstar acts who are set to battle it out for big prizes at Britain's prestigious Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards next month (Sep09).
R&B superstar Beyonce and rapper West are leading the way with three nods each at the 14th annual awards, while West gets an extra nomination in a supporting role in the video of his protege Mr Hudson's debut track Supernova.
Beyonce and West will compete in the Best International Act and Best Album categories, while Keri Hilson follows her international contemporaries with two nominations, in the best R&B/Soul and Best International Act groups.
British acts N-Dubz, rapper Chipmunk and Tinchy Stryder are also up for a series of awards, including Best U.K. Act, Best Album and Best Song.
Meanwhile, it's a big year for former contestants on British TV talent show The X Factor - last year's (08) winner Alexandra Burke and runners-up JLS are both nominated in the Best U.K. Newcomer category.
The awards will take place in Glasgow, Scotland on 30 September (09).
