Hype has been building around the 34-year-old singer's new project since she revealed an extended preview of the show on Sunday night (17Apr16).

Now bosses at the subscription TV channel HBO have announced that they're offering viewers a free preview weekend which will cover Lemonade's air time of 9pm on Saturday.

Running from Friday to Sunday (22-24Apr16) the preview weekend will also cover the season premiere of HBO's hit fantasy series of Game of Thrones, which airs at 9pm on Sunday, directly after a repeat of Lemonade.

Lemonade has been billed by the channel as a "world premiere event", but other than what viewers have seen in the preview clip, it is shrouded in mystery.

The preview begins with the words, "The past and the present merge to meet us here", before Beyonce's voice can be heard asking questions such as "What are you hiding?", "Why can’t you see me?" and "What am I doing, my love?".

With eerie music playing, the star then takes a baseball bat to the screen while dressed in a bright yellow dress. The trailer also includes footage of a dreadlocked Beyonce wearing a fur jacket, slowly lifting her head before saying, "Pull me in, pull me in".

Speculation has suggested that the length of Lemonade may mean it is the video debut of Beyonce's much anticipated sixth solo album.

Excitement has been building about Beyonce's next release ever since the star put out a video for a new song, Formation, in February (16).

With few details about the exact nature of Lemonade available however, viewers across the U.S. will have to tune in on Saturday to find out.
