Beyonce is "nervous" ahead of her headlining slot at Britain's Glastonbury festival, but credits her husband Jay Z with inspiring her to start "taking risks" in her career.
The rapper performed at the legendary music event in 2008, but his inclusion on the bill drew fierce criticism from stars including Noel Gallagher, who insisted hip-hop had no place at the rock-heavy festival.
Jay Z's set was subsequently hailed a triumph, and his wife has now signed up as a star act for this year's (11) Glastonbury, which kicks off on 22 June (11) - but she admits she is feeling tense as the days count down to the big gig.
Beyonce tells Dazed & Confused, "I would have never thought about doing Glastonbury if I wasn't there the night that he played. I am nervous. But right now, this part of my life is all about embracing change and going to the next level, taking risks and showing my bravery."
