Beyonce is very ''driven'' in the gym.

The 'Grown Woman' singer is famed for her toned, curvaceous figure and her trainer Marco Borges has commended her for her dedication to keeping fit, revealing she works incredibly hard to maintain her physique.

He told Heat magazine: ''Beyonce likes to get in there, get a great workout, and get out.

''She's very driven. There's no complaining. She's the kind of person who's always in search of optimum wellness; she just wants to be healthy.''

The celebrity trainer has been helping the 31-year-old beauty stay fit for several years and previously revealed he encouraged Beyonce to take up sprinting to help her lose the pounds after giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy in January 2012.

He said: ''Consistency is the key to success. I love running sprint intervals for quick cardio sessions and also, running stairs.''

Marco also encourages ''one vegan a meal day'' to make sure you are eating enough fruit and vegetables.

He said: ''This typically gets people to eat more greens than they normally would.''

It seems eating more greens helped Beyonce lose her baby weight and develop rock hard abs, which she recently showed off on her 'Mrs. Carter Show' world tour.

She said: ''Y'all have no idea how hard I worked. I had to lose 60 pounds! They had me on that treadmill -- I ate lettuce!''
