Beyonce Knowles is so fed up with all of the false reports surrounding her bodyguard, she's considering launching a campaign urging the media to leave him alone.

Giant-sized SHORTIE first hit headlines in August (04), when it was falsely reported that he had broken Knowles' toe by treading on it. Then, just a few weeks later, he re-emerged in the tabloids for apparently getting stuck in an elevator.

But annoyed Knowles is eager to set the record straight.

She says, "It's all over the news that he broke my toe. And they had skits, they had parodies... They had anti-Shortie websites, because they made up this story that he broke my toe. I don't even know where they got it from."

Knowles' Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland adds, "While we were (in London) they said that Shortie got stuck in an elevator. It's like, 'Dang, Shortie, we don't make these stories up!'"

The stars now have a united chant for the media: "Leave Shortie alone!"
