Beloved TV veteran Betty White is "trying to cut down" on her workload following a huge career resurgence last year (10) - but admits she struggles to turn down a job.
The Golden Girls favourite made a comeback in 2010, landing a role in Sandra Bullock hit The Proposal and fronting an episode of Saturday Night Live after fans started a campaign for her to guest host.
White's return to the spotlight ended with her being named Entertainer of the Year by the Associated Press, but she's keen to take things easier in 2011 in case fans grow tired of her.
She says, "It's hard for me to say no to a job because you spend your career thinking if you say no to a job they'll never offer you another one. My mother taught me to say no as a girl. But I'm trying to cut down, I really am.
"What is this Betty White business. This is so silly. You've had an overdose of me. I think I'm going to go away for a while."
