Betty White will follow in the footsteps of Quentin Tarantino, Billy Crystal and Barbra Streisand as she is inducted into the legendary Friars Club.
The Golden Girls star will be put in the hot seat as a host of comics and former colleagues line up to mock and ridicule her career at the organisation's annual 'roast' later this year (12).
But the veteran actress, who turned 90 in January (12), has promised to give as good as she gets.
She says, "Those Friars may think I'm an easy mark but I have 90 years of comebacks waiting for them. This is such an honour to be roasted by the Friars Club. It will be an afternoon filled with dirty words, risque jokes & sex talk... and that's just what I plan on saying. I have no clue what the comedians will talk about."
The ceremony will take place on 16 May (12).
