Betty White, 90, found an unusual partner to promote the latest exhibit at the Los Angeles Zoo this week - teaming up with legendary GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash. The unlikely pair both appear in a commercial promoting Living Amphibian, Invertebrates and Reptiles at the historic zoo, reports
In the video clip, White and Clash are seen staring at a pair of frogs, with the veteran television star saying, "You can tell which one is male or female by the dark pads on their fingers", to which Slash replies, "Really? That's cool". The exhibition is set to open on March 8, 2012, with Zoo President Connie Morgan saying in a statement, "Betty White is synonymous with the Los Angeles Zoo.Her heart and her advocacy for the animals that share our earth help drive us to excellence". In early February 2012, the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association partnered with TV Land to name their newest baby orangutan after Betty's character in 'Hot in Cleveland' - Elka.
