A teary Bethenny Frankel opened up about her recent miscarriage while appearing on the Today Show this week to promote the third season of her Bravo series 'Bethenny Ever After'. The reality television star and hugely successful businesswoman said she suffered the miscarriage while trying for her second child with husband Jason Hoppy.
Growing tearful, Frankel explained, "We were pregnant with a second baby and at eight weeks I miscarried. That was a very emotional experience and it had a lot of different things that came with it. And... thinking about women who can't have their own baby, even the first baby, I mean, I'm really lucky". Bethenny and Jason are already parents to 21-month old baby Bryn and the former Real Housewives of New York star said, "I have the most beautiful daughter in the world... and I'm grateful for her". Frankel said her miscarriage would not be documented on the forthcoming season of 'Bethenny Ever After', explaining, ""[It] is something that has not been dealt with on the show - that was very recent". As for the possibility of trying for another child, the 'Skinnygirl' drinks creator said, "I'm not really thinking about it... I do have an incredible daughter, I feel like she's perfect, and I - honestly, truthfully - have thought about other women more than myself".
Bethenny Ever After, which premiered its third season on the Bravo network on Monday (February 20, 2012), follows the day-to-day exploits of the 43-year-old as she attempts to juggle her growing business with her new family.
