The French actress - who plays new Bond Girl Severine in 'Skyfall' - revealed she wasn't nervous about working alongside the 44-year-old actor and director Sam Mendes because she got on with them so well as people.
Berenice said: ''Not at all. What was amazing on that set was the first time I met Sam and Daniel, I just met with two beautiful human beings. I felt very safe straight away.''
The brunette beauty was also impressed by her Spanish co-star Javier Bardem and his performance as villain Raoul Silva, since both he and male lead Daniel are remarkably down to earth and modest.
She told Marie Claire magazine: ''I always felt instinctively that talent comes with humility and in that sense I was not surprised to find two talented actors [in Daniel and Javier] and beautiful people.''
Berenice confessed she was relieved her role didn't require her to strip off on screen and it would have been a ''nightmare'' to wear a bikini, as is often required of Bond Girls.
Speaking on the red carpet at the world premiere of 'Skyfall' at London's Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday night (23.101.12), she added to BANG Showbiz: ''This is very moving; suddenly it brings back all the memories from filming a long time ago. I feel very moved to be here.''
