The youngsters went public with their relationship in March (15), but just five months later, they declared they were both single again, insisting they would remain good friends.
In a new interview with Seventeen magazine, Becky shed a little more light on their spit, confessing their biggest problem was their mutual passion for their careers.
"I was with someone who was really amazing and inspiring, and everything was right about us except the timing," Becky admits. "We had so many dreams and aspirations before we started dating and you can't forget those."
The Shower singer adds that the break-up "sucked really bad (sic)," but insists "there's no bad blood" between them.
"It was really hard because we were very open about how happy we were," she adds. "It was only fair for me to set the story straight after we broke up."
