Beck is collaborating with Charlotte Gainsbourg on her forthcoming album, it he been reported.

The ODELAY star said he has been working with the French actress in Los Angeles on the follow-up to 2006's 5:55, reports the NME

BECK'S father, David Campbell, produced the string arrangements on 5:55 – which also featured contributions from THE Divine Comedy, AIR and Jarvis Cocker.

Speaking to KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic radio programme, the rock musician explained that he was originally supposed to work on Charlotte's last album, but was unable to get together with her at the time.

"Now I'm working on her follow-up record," he added.

Daughter of legendary French artist Serge Gainsbourg, Charlotte has starred in movies such as the Bob Dylan biopic I'M NOT THERE, as well as 21 GRAMS.

BECK collaborated with DANGER MOUSE of Gnarls Barkley fame on his latest album MODERN GUILT.
