THE Beatles' new album LOVE will be available to download on Apple's iTunes website, according to reports. Apple Computer and The Beatles' Apple Corps have been battling in the courts since the computer giants was formed in 1976, over their similar names. They last fought in court earlier this year (06) when Apple Corps accused Apple Computer of breaching a trademark agreement by selling music. Apple Corps lost that case, but the two could be set to unite and offer The Beatles' music for sale as a downloadable MP3 for the first time. According to Fortune magazine, the two firms could be close to a deal over the Love album, that could lead to the band's back catalogue being included too. Apple Computer has called the report "rumours" and EMI, which has rights to The Beatles' music has declined to comment.
