New Orleans' Hot 8 Brass Band fly in alongside Coves, Onlyjoe, Meadowlark, We The Wild, and Goan Dogs as some of the excellent new additions to the Somerset festival's brimming line-up.
The big and the bold sounds of Hot 8 Brass Band described by The Guardian as 'New Orleans finest', will be resonating around a particularly scenic spot of the Somerset countryside in August as Farmfest welcomes the inimitable Grammy nominated group. Their renowned cover of Marvin Gaye's Sexual Healing will no doubt be given a blow out amongst their own original hits.
Other less brass-orientated additions to the kaleidoscopic line up include London psych-pop duo Coves, the sweet tones of Laura Groves, fresh indie groovers We The Wild and heavyweight reggae outfit Onlyjoe.
The already strong West Country contingent at the festival is bolstered by Bristol folksters Meadowlark, Goan Dogs, Towns, Lonely Tourist, Ema Sierra and Georgie Vale.
