Beady Eye In Contention For Their First UK No.1 With Album 'Be'

Beady Eye's new album 'BE' is currently sitting a close second behind Black Sabbath in the midweek charts setting up a closely fought chart battle to score their first ever UK No.1 album this Sunday.

The band also reveal today that they are set to perform lead single 'Second Bite of the Apple' exclusively on The Voice this Saturday as part of the hit show's live semi-final programme.

Produced by Dave Sitek, 'BE' has received the critics' approval with the likes of the Metro heralding the album as a "defiant statement of intent", Daily Star calling it "an album to be proud of'" and Uncut describing the record as "a bold leap forward".

Next week the band embark on a series of three intimate shows, performing at the Manchester Ritz on June 19th, the Camden Centre in London on June 20th and the ABC in Glasgow on June 22nd.

The band are set to perform at V Festival and T in the Park this Summer.
