The injury to Beady Eye rocker Gem Archer that prompted the band to pull the plug on gigs in Belgium and Japan over the weekend (03-04Aug13) has been described as a severe head trauma.
The former Oasis star was reportedly involved in an accident on Thursday evening (01Aug13) and he is currently in a hospital in stable condition.
Updates are imminent, but his wife Lou has already taken to Twitter.com to thank fans for their support. In a post on Sunday (04Aug13), she wrote, "Thanks for all your support and well wishes during this awful time. I know he will appreciate it. Hopefully he'll be back on his feet soon."
